After a few years of renting facilities in and around the Toledo area, TSSC decided it was time to invest in a playing space specifically for its customers, however, SRC knows it wouldn't be right to keep younger patrons from having recreational fun too! So, in January 2016, Skyway Recreation Center opened its doors to any and all members of local and surrounding community to pursue their recreational desires.
In August of 2009, Jesse started Toledo Sport and Social Club. After significant growth and development, TSSC needed a place to call home and Skyway Recreation Center was purchased. Originally built at a roller skating rink known as The "Fun Spot", the building underwent modifications in 2016 and became Skyway Recreation Center.
Please reach us at info@skywayrec.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
No. We operate on reservations only. Unlike a tax or publicly funded facility, we are only open when we have bookings for our court space.
We are open all hours. Many bookings are operated remotely and we ask renters to lock up when they are finished.
Our courts are used primarily for volleyball and basketball. With at least 12 hours advance notice, we can convert our courts in time for your rental. Short of 12 hours, we cannot predict how our courts need to be set up and may be left in the previous configuration.
